History of SCS

Founded in 1979 in Bellevue, Ohio, SCS Gearbox began by manufacturing interchangeable gearing solutions for truck and tractor pullers, helping competitors quickly adapt their equipment to changing track conditions. Over the decades, the company has grown alongside the racing industry, expanding its products to include quick-change gears, transfer cases, transmissions, axles, and custom-machined components for applications ranging from tractor pulling and circle track racing to monster trucks, off-road vehicles, and marine racing. Through that growth, SCS Gearbox has remained focused on American manufacturing, specialized engineering, consistent quality, and listening closely to its customers' needs.
